This week, Baird Capital portfolio company Forj announced the acquisition of Mobilize, a community engagement technology provider, to expand its Member Experience Platform for associations and professional networks.  This news comes on the heels of Forj’s recent merger with Web Courseworks announced earlier this year.

Forj was launched in 2021 to re-imagine the member experience and simplify the association technology ecosystem by delivering personalized content, member-to-member connections, and learning experiences through a single solution. With the addition of Mobilize, Forj is positioned as the preferred provider for membership organizations seeking a mobile-first platform, coupled with strategic guidance and engagement frameworks to fuel engagement and grow their communities of practice.

Baird Capital’s Venture team initially invested in Forj in 2021. Forj is led by CEO Kurt Heikkinen, who previously served as CEO of Modern Hire (formerly “Montage”), a previous Baird Capital portfolio company.
