Melissa Kandinata is a Vice President with Baird Capital’s Venture Capital team. Her responsibilities include deal sourcing and execution, as well as supporting portfolio companies. Melissa was involved in our investment in Osano. Prior to joining Baird Capital in 2022, Melissa worked at Cisco Investments in enterprise technology venture investments and M&A. She started her career in investment banking at Citigroup, advising and executing equity capital financings for large private and publicly traded corporations. After Citigroup, she worked in corporate development and seed stage investing at FHI 360, a global development organization with an impact investing subsidiary. Melissa holds a B.S. in business administration with a finance concentration from the University of Richmond, where she played NCAA Division I tennis, and an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management, where she was a Finance Fellow. She attended both on a full-tuition scholarship. Melissa is fluent in English and Indonesian.
