Jim Pavlik, Partner

Jim Pavlik joined Baird Capital's Venture Capital team in 2003 and currently oversees the firm’s investments in Forj, Hireology, ModelOp, NowSecure, Parallax, Tracer and Vodori. He was also actively involved with the firm's prior investments in Cielo, Coalfire, emids, InsideTrack, Montage, PayChoice and Upfront Healthcare. Prior to joining Baird Capital, Jim was with Madison Dearborn Partners, where he focused on early stage venture capital investments in the telecom, media and technology services sectors. He began his career in investment banking with Salomon Smith Barney. Jim received a B.A. in economics from Duke University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
