Jim Pavlik, Partner

Jim Pavlik joined Baird Capital's Venture Capital team in 2003 currently oversees the firm’s investments in Forj, Hireology, NowSecure, Strata Oncology, Tracer, Upfront Healthcare and Vodori. He was also actively involved with the firm's prior investments in Cielo, Coalfire, emids, InsideTrack, Montage and PayChoice. Prior to joining Baird Capital, Jim was with Madison Dearborn Partners, where he focused on early stage venture capital investments in the telecom, media and technology services sectors. He began his career in investment banking with Salomon Smith Barney. Jim received a B.A. in economics, summa cum laude, from Duke University and an MBA with distinction from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
