John McInerney, Associate

John McInerney is an Associate on Baird Capital’s Global Private Equity team. John partners with the Investment, Portfolio Operations and Finance teams to drive value across the investment lifecycle. He is focused on business analytics, value creation plans, and strategic projects. Prior to joining Baird Capital in 2023, John was a fund finance analyst at DWS Group, focusing on financial reporting and operations for their open-ended co-mingled real estate investment trusts and key separate accounts. John’s experience expanded to similar roles at Revantage, a Blackstone company and Brookfield Properties. His responsibilities included detailed review of financial packages and quarterly reports, preparation of audited financials and board materials, and process implementation.

John graduated with a B.S. degree in finance from Iowa State University.
