Andrew Szyman, Vice President

Andrew Szyman is a Vice President with Baird Capital’s Global Private Equity team and focuses on sourcing investment opportunities, deal execution and portfolio management. Andrew is involved in our investments in Blue Matter and Cleanwater1, and assisted with the acquisitions of Velodyne, ICS, IMS, and PureAir.  Prior to joining Baird Capital in 2020, Andrew was an investment banking analyst at CIBC Cleary Gull, focusing on mergers and acquisitions for lower middle market clients in the industrials, business services and consumer sectors. His responsibilities included detailed financial analysis, valuation, deal execution, preparation of marketing documents, due diligence, and industry and company research.

Andrew graduated with B.S. degrees in accounting and finance from Marquette University.
