Mike Frenkel, Vice President

Mike Frenkel is a Vice President with Baird Capital’s Global Private Equity team and focuses on sourcing investment opportunities, deal execution, and portfolio management. Mike was involved in our investment in autoLOTO. Prior to joining Baird Capital in 2025, Mike was a Vice President at H.I.G. Capital, focusing on transaction evaluation and execution, portfolio management, and value creation initiatives for investments in a variety of industries for the Lower Middle Market Fund. Prior to H.I.G. Capital, Mike was a member of the investment team at Twin Point Capital, a private equity firm focused on media, communications, and business-services assets, and an Investment Banking Analyst at Guggenheim Partners.  

Mike received an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a B.S. in Finance and Statistics from the New York University Stern School of Business.
