Baird Capital Finalist for Real Deals’ Private Equity Award
Real Deals’ Private Equity Awards has selected Baird Capital as a finalist for its exit from Subsea Technology & Rentals (STR) in the UK & RoI Mid-Cap Deal of the Year (EV on entry £25-100m) category. This award recognizes private equity exits that showcase how the sponsor created value during the holding period, as well as those that have demonstrated growth of key financial metrics.
STR is a leading subsea equipment and service provider to the offshore energy and marine science markets. Baird Capital’s investment supported the rapid expansion of STR’s capabilities and operations in the US and Asia, and over the three year hold US revenues grew by over 300%. Baird Capital invested in STR in January 2022, facilitating a transition for its founders, and exited in December 2024 to Star Capital LLP.
